The hotel is located on the top of a hill overlooking the city of Kiev. It is close to the Palace of Sports and to some of the Embassies, most notable the Bulgarian Embassy. The centre of the city, Khreshchatyk Street and the Bessarabian Market are a short walk away. St Sophia's Cathedral and the Old Town are a short drive away; the Mother Russia monument and Caves Monastery are also a very short journey away by car.

The rooms are quite small, but very comfortable and well appointed. The decor is based on browns and beiges and might be deemed a little out of date, but this does not detract from the overall comfort.

The large lobby has marble floor and dark wood and metal fittings. There are large windows overlooking the car park and water feature to the front of the property. The day bar is to the left of the entrance and the reception and change bank to the right. There is ample seating in comfortable surroundings.
