The fully renovated A Train Hotel (formerly Hotel Schirman) is a unique family-run hotel located in front of the Central Station. Run by Jos and Erika Heijnsdijk, it is the perfect place whether you are on a business or a leisure trip. The extra-ordinary “train theme” of the hotel, you will realize with surprise, is an extension of yourself - bitten by the travel bug!
A-Train Hotel is ideally located in front of the Central (Railway) Station in the beating heart of Amsterdam. It is close to almost all the important tourist destinations of the city. Since every major tram, bus and metro line operates from the Central Station, communication is a smooth affair from this apartment. The Schiphol Airport, the Amsterdam RAI and the WTC buildings are only 15-20 minutes away from the hotel. The important shopping areas, bars, pubs, cafes, restaurants, theatres, are all within walking distance.
