Le Meridien Tahiti is located along the beach in the picturesque Punaauia region on the main island. It is only 15 kilometres from the capital, Papeete, nine kilometres from Faa’a International Airport and 20 minutes from the Atimaono international golf course, the botanical gardens and the Gauguin Museum.

The Lagoon View Rooms are very spacious (approximately 47.6 square metres), look directly over the blue lagoon of Tahiti and feature a terrace, the ideal place to read or take in the sunset. Decorated in vivid primary colours, Polynesian furnishings, natural materials and local designs, all rooms (available with either a queen-size bed or two single beds rooms) have air conditioning, direct dial phone, safe, satellite television, internet access, minibar and coffee-maker. The bathroom features a separate bathtub and walk-in shower.

The 12 Polynesian-style Bungalows stretch out into the lagoon and are perched right over the water. The bungalows have a spacious deck for whiling away the hours over the lagoon. The over-water bungalows are very spacious (approximately 56 square metres) with a separate dressing area and have air-conditioning, safe satellite television, mini-bar, tea & coffee amenities, iron and ironing board. It is impossible to add an extra bed but a convertible sofa can be used for a third adult or a child.

Le Meridien Tahiti has a 500-square-metre conference room that seats up to 500 people, as well as two smaller meeting rooms. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel's public areas. Basic business services, such as photocopying and faxing, can be arranged through reception.

A sandy-bottom, lagoon-style swimming pool lies just metres from the beachfront. A variety of complimentary sports facilities is offered, and Le Meridien also has a tennis court on site. Beach- and garden-side restaurants are complemented by a jewellery shop and a gift shop, which also sells newspapers. A transit room is offered for those with late departures.
