Baros Maldives

Located on its own private island in the North Male Atoll. A 15-minute speedboat ride from Male International Airport. During this brief journey, guests are greeted with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and neighbouring coral islands.

Baros Maldives offers 75 stand-alone air-conditioned villas located either directly on the beach or on stilts over the turquoise waters of the lagoon, all of which have private verandas on the beach or decked terraces leading down into the sea. All feature neutral decor, combining European and Asian influences in sandy shades of stone, honey, and brown, and have wooden floors and ceilings, stylish contemporary furnishings, and ceiling fans. All villas include satellite television, CD players, wireless Internet access (surcharge), direct-dial phones, safes, tea/coffee-making facilities, and minibars. Open-air bathrooms are set in private gardens and include bathrobes, slippers, and hair dryers.

The onsite spa is set amid tropical greenery and offers total relaxation with treatments ranging from tropical fruit facials to Swedish massages and body wraps. The spa features four private suites, all complete with a steam room and waterfall plunge pool. The villa dining service allows guests to enjoy personalised catering in the privacy of their villa, in a romantic spot on the beach, or at a nearby secluded sandbank. The two bars on site offer a selection of tropical cocktails and juices. Guests wishing to explore the area can take advantage of the selection of excursions and trips on offer, including a seaplane flight, a Male shopping trip, a sunrise picnic, or a day of island hopping.
