This stately hotel sits on the Ringstrasse in the heart of historic Old Vienna, adjacent to the verdant Stadtpark and about two km (one mile) from the Museums Quartier Wien.

This hotel has 247 guestrooms, all of which have Biedemeyer furnishings. Rooms are decorated in either candy pinks and greens, or in pale greens and olives. Wooden headboards complement bedspreads in pink and green floral patterns or deep green with a grapevine motif. Two armchairs are pink with highlights of green wood or pale green satin stripes. Period desks have complimentary Internet access. Walls are hung with watercolors of 19th-century Vienna. Bathrooms have a green marble sink, an adjustable-height showers over the tub and heated floors.

The hotel has 17 conference rooms, most of which faithfully recreate their days as a count's dining and meeting rooms. Richly carved wooden ceilings are decorated with frescoes and hung with chandeliers, walls are papered with satin, and tables and chairs are period. One conference room has a working fireplace.
